TOMAÉ Collective is a Paris-based consultancy for online retailers selling into France and French-speaking Europe. We plan and run the search advertising, shape the offer for a French buyer, and put the commercial groundwork in place — so the launch is decided by numbers, not by hope.
Google Ads is where most French purchase journeys begin, and it is where we begin too. Keyword research in French rather than translated, campaign structure built around margin per product group, and a weekly discipline of cutting what does not convert. Budgets are set with you and reported line by line.
What sells in Berlin or Warsaw does not automatically sell in Lyon. We test the proposition against French expectations before money goes into media: pricing, delivery promise, returns, tone of voice, and the trust signals a French shopper looks for on a checkout page.
Advice on how goods should reach a French address: which carriers and relay networks customers actually trust, where stock should sit, what free returns will cost you, and how customer service in French can be staffed without a French office. We specify; you contract directly with each provider.
France has its own rules for online sellers — VAT registration, consumer-law notices, packaging and waste schemes, invoicing formats. We give you a plain checklist of what applies to your shop and introduce you to the accountants, lawyers and payment providers who handle it. Every contract is signed in your company's name.
We work the same way for every client, and every stage produces a document. It keeps the work honest, and it means your accountant, your bank or a future investor can see exactly what was agreed, spent and achieved.
We look at your shop, your margins and your existing data, and estimate what a French customer would cost you to acquire. If the arithmetic does not work, we tell you before anything is signed.
A written mandate sets out scope, fee, timeline and the targets we are accountable for. Work starts only once both parties have signed.
Campaigns go live in your own advertising accounts, the offer is adjusted from real French traffic, and operational recommendations are handed over as written specifications.
Every month closes with a statement of spend, revenue attributed and the decisions for the month ahead. Budgets rise or fall on that evidence.
TOMAÉ Collective was set up in Paris for a specific kind of client: the established online retailer from elsewhere in Europe who has decided France is next, and who wants the entry done once and done properly rather than three times cheaply.
We call ourselves a collective because the work is done by a small circle of specialists — search, French-language copy, logistics, local compliance — coordinated by one lead consultant who remains your single point of contact from the diagnostic to the last monthly review.
The consultant who prepares the diagnostic is the one who signs the mandate and presents each monthly review. Nothing is passed down a chain.
Mandates, specifications, monthly statements and change notes are filed as the work progresses. The record exists before anyone asks for it.
Advertising accounts, carrier contracts and merchant agreements are opened in your company's name. Should the mandate end, nothing needs to be migrated.
Our revenue is the consultancy fee set out in each signed mandate. We do not take commissions from media platforms, carriers or suppliers, and we do not resell their services.
Media spend, freight and supplier invoices are settled by you, directly with each provider, from your own accounts. No money passes through TOMAÉ Collective on a client's behalf.
Because every stage of a mandate produces a document, the paper trail is a by-product of the work rather than a reconstruction. Ask for it at any point and it is ready the same day.
Write a few lines about your shop, your current markets and your margins. Within one week you will receive either a written diagnostic proposal or a candid explanation of why we would advise against it.
For bank and payment-provider due diligence: TOMAÉ Collective SAS (a simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SASU) under French law, share capital 5 000 €, registration with the RCS Paris in progress, registered office: 250bis boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris, France) provides marketing and business consultancy to online retailers entering the French market. Its corporate purpose, as stated in its articles of association, is digital marketing, Google Ads and retail trade. The company does not hold, receive or forward funds on behalf of clients. Advertising, logistics and supplier costs are paid by each client directly to the provider concerned. The company's income consists of consultancy fees invoiced to business clients under signed written mandates.
